Mamee Monster is a crunchy noodle snack that made its debut in 1974 after Datuk Pang’s eldest son, MAMEE-Double Decker Executive ChairmanTan Sri Pang Tee Chew picked up on something while driving through the estates in Alor Gajah, Malacca–he noticed the rubber tappers were eating uncooked instant noodles straight from the pack.This led thePang father-son duo to steer their noodle production in a new direction. They decided topre-season the noodlesbefore selling them, and that was the start of one of the first Malaysia’sfavourite snacks. Mamee Monster noodles became a hit not just with the youngsters but also with the adults, thanks to its rich flavour, strong marketing strategy and widespread availability.

This campaign aims to leverage that nostalgia, and turn it into something modern, something new, yet retains the charm of the old Mamee Monster packs. The campaign leveraged the rich visual heritage of the brand, transporting it into today’s world.
All the elements, designs, colours, and music that evoke memories of a simpler time, before the rise of the internet and social media, to remind people that even in today’s high-tech, fast-moving, ever-evolving world, there’s always room for the simple pleasures, such as a pack of Mamee Monster noodle snack.
