Good news to Kota Damansara folks, being a KD girl, im so happy to share with you that Kedai Ayamas is now available at Emporis Kota Damansara. I visited the store the other day with the family, and im excited to share with you my thoughts on what I think about their food. The variety of roasted chicken available at Kedai Ayamas has always been hard to choose from, but if you havent tried any of their famous Roasted chicken yet, its about time you do! Without any hesitation, let me share with you more about what to expect at Kedai Ayamas.
Currently, there are 62 chains of Ayamas Stores in the whole of Malaysia. Since im based in Kota Damansara, there's a newly opened Ayamas store in Emporis Kota Damansara which I managed to check out over the weekend, thus it deserves a review considering the interior has a whole new look when it comes to the concept. Ayamas focuses on the 3H which guarantees that what they serve is Healthy, Hygenic, and Halal, which usually is why I put a lot of trust in the food they serve to be never disappointing.
Talking about the concept of the store, let me just briefly explain to you what to expect when you walk into any Ayamas Store. The store offer cooked chicken and other combo deals for a dine-in option, raw chicken, and other frozen food that you can bring home. That being said, its like a one-stop location if youre looking to fill an empty stomach while bringing back fresh raw chicken for you to cook at home for the week. Not a bad idea right?
Main Menu
One of the Kedai Ayamas main attractions would be their fresh roasted chicken that has a unique seasoning of spices. The roasted chicken that they have to offer would be the Golden Chicken, Pepper Chicken Percik Chicken. Starting off with the Golden Chicken, the flavor features an original taste with a tinge of coated sweet honey to balance out the roasted sweet flavor that it has to offer. I would honestly say that this has to be my daughter's favorite as its not spicy and it has a natural chicken flavor. I love how despite this being the least seasoned among the rest, it really offers the taste of chicken that is guranteed to be fresh and delicious with hints of honey.
Another option of roasted chicken by Ayamas would be their Pepper chicken which offers roasted chicken that has been seasoned with black pepper. From what i know, they marinate freshly produced chicken in black pepper to ensure that the chicken that you indulge in would taste fresh with hints of peppery spices making it great for a mild hint of spices to linger around your tongue after each bite.
And last but not least would be their Percik Chicken which apparently is a crowd favorite since it offers a traditional percik flavor that we all love and enjoy. The percik sauce is a combination of coconut milk lemongrass and ginger that creates a wonderful mouthwatering combination. Honestly between the three that Ayamas has to offer, i would have to say that the percik is my favorite of all because this marinate offers a lot of flavors to linger in your mouth. It has a good balance of spice while the coconut milk adds a creamy texture to the percik. If you haven't given this a go, you should make your way to Ayamas to get a bite of this bestseller roasted chicken by Ayamas.
Light Snacks and Other Dishes
On top of their main roasted chickens, did you know that Ayamas also offers other wholesome dishes as well? If youre looking to dine in and get a good combination of carbohydrates and protein, then you can always try their pasta-based dishes, pastries, and even set meals that come with chicken rice. I actually enjoyed my recent visit as they also offered a kids meal menu for those who have kids, making it family-friendly to dine in. When i visited this outlet, i would have to say that this is the first time im trying their puff pastries, and they actually taste pretty good! Its great for snacking or to fill a light stomach if youre not too hungry. I tried the chicken curry puff and the chicken cream pie, and i really enjoy indulging in both.
Since i managed to try the Bolognaise Spaghetti with BBQ Chicken while i was there, i would have to say that i love how it goes beyond by providing a natural non-salty taste, making it perfect for the kids to enjoy as well. I didnt think i would like the pasta as much, but i can tell that it was carefully prepared and lightly seasoned to give you an assurance of a healthy bite. It doesnt look as fancy, but trust me, the taste of it makes it feel like youre at home.

If you love promotions, then you should keep an eye on this paragraph as I'll be spilling the details on what they have to offer. Every 15th and 30th, their roasted chicken would be available at a discounted price. There is also a Thursday special and a Daily 'Savings Set' (Set jimat), that offers a really good deal for a set of chicken rice with a bottle of mineral water at only RM10.90 only.
Alternatively, if you don't feel like going out, Ayamas has collaborated with Grabfood and Food Panda to satisfy your cravings without the need to leave the house. How awesome is that? Despite just recently enjoying my freshly roasted Ayamas Chicken the past few days, I still feel like I need to head over to the store to get some more! Trust me, you'll never get tired of their juicy chicken goodness. On top of that, i honestly enjoy their secret recipe chili sauce which is also for sale in-store. It's not at all spicy, and it has the right amount of sour and spicy to enhance the flavors in your dish.
As a verdict, I would have to say that I really enjoyed my visit to Ayamas Emporis Kota Damansara. I love the fact that they conveniently have a dine-in option for a quick enjoyable dining experience and the fact that they also sell frozen food for you to pack and go. Honestly, what I admire the most about their roasted chicken would be that they are never really overcooked, and they are also very juicy, to begin with. Never too dry and the chicken just melts in your mouth after every bite. It's definitely worth trying if you haven't, and I can guarantee that you'll keep coming back for more.
Ayamas started with the concept of selling fresh HALAL & TOYIBBA produced chicken alongside other frozen food such as sausages, burgers, and nuggets in a more modern environment store of their own. With a tagline of 'More Than Just Chicken' now Ayamas offers 'Ready To Eat' menu's such as Chicken Briyani Bukhara Rice, Bulgogi Chicken Rice, Thai Green Curry Chicken with rice. From manufacturing frozen food, now Ayamas customers can dine in to enjoy freshly roasted chicken with the secret blend of Ayamasspices.
