Sunway Lagoon Takes Safety Precautious | MCO Safety Theme Park

After 3 months of locking ourselves at home, i must say that it was a huge challenge for everyone to make an effort to stop the spread of the virus and thankfully we have seen some light from all the sacrifices we’ve all made by just staying home. The numbers of those being infected is now low and controlled and seeing some business starting to open again really does shows some signs of positivity. Having an infant with me, of course it was hard to keep her locked up in our small tiny home, so I thought of taking her for a joy trip to Sunway Lagoon! We still went with precautions but i would just like to emphasize that Sunway Lagoons safety actions gave us assurance that hygiene has been well taken of within the park. 

I know most of us are still afraid to go out, and i would consider it a risk for me to be going out with my 10 month old baby and my mother, who is now above 60. When we reached the entrance to the theme park, the floors were filled with social distancing signs and the distance gap was taken pretty seriously by the staff. Also, just before you enter the park, there will be a request for visitors to sanitize and go through a temperature check before entering. 

If you have been to Sunway Lagoon before, you would know that they would usually check your bags for safety reasons, and in conjuction to the covid situation, the staff will always sanitize their hands and wear gloves before touching any of our belongings. This really shows that they have taken precautions to ensure that hygiene is well taken seriously to prevent any spread of the virus. Thumbs up for the extra effort Sunway Lagoon! Also, as you scan your entrance ticket to enter the park, they is also a social distancing requirement where the entrance has a distance of 1m apart from the other entrance. A little strange to be experiencing this for the first time being out, but i guess this would be the new norm. 

While we’re in the park, all the lines and food stalls had proper reminders of social distancing floor stickers and signage to ensure that visitors of the park practice the standard operation procedure to assure safety of all park visitors. Even the resting benches at the park had stickers to remind guest on social distancing! Talk about extra effort, Sunway Lagoon has got it covered. 

Since i had my baby with me, we just wanted to visit the wildlife park at Sunway Lagoon to see the animals and the birds that they had. Considering this is Mikayla’s first time , it was a huge trip for her to be discovering new things that she’s never encountered before, especially when she got to see an albino tiger and lion! I love how wel shaded the park is, so i didnt have to worry too much about the heat for my little baby. 

Every corner of the park had their staff being ever ready to ensure that everyone follows the SOP of the covid situation and they were also very nice in setting reminders in wearing mask too. I was impressed to see that there were also signboards everywhere saying that door knobs and chairs are regularly sanitized too. Rest assured, i really had not much worries while i was there. 

Since Mikayla isnt a swimmer yet, we kindda skiped the water park as i wasnt too confident to take her for swimming yet. But since i was there with my mum, we managed to dropped by their gift store to get some floats for mikayla at a reasonable price! Surprised that it wasnt that expensive at all. If you happen to be there, dont forget to get some souvenirs while youre there. I would say that im pretty confident with the safety precautions taken at Sunway Lagoon and im also glad that theyre taking the corona virus concerns seriously. You must be wondering why is the shop name called OLDMASTER? Well, to start of the story, the word OLDMASTER is translated from the Malaysian Minnan dialext called 'Lao Tao Qui' which means professional Master in an industry. Found of Chuan Heong Coffee Mill, Mr. Ng Ho Heap, started roasting Nanyang Coffee beans since 1959 and now it has been considered as one of the oldest and most experienced coffee roasting master in Malaysia.

This father and son-duo, Mr. NG and his successor, Steve Ng in year 2015 launched a specialty coffee brand in Chinese named '老头手' has renamed as OLDMASTER New-Nanyang Coffee in 2019. The following year, Mr. Ng created his own signature coffee, the 'Premium Gold Coffee' which has won a lot of recognition from the coffee lovers all over Malaysia. His mill was also one first in Taiping to win the 2018 Nanyang Siang Pau 95th Anniversary Outstanding Business Award for creating OLDMASTER coffee without any additional fragrances or chemical preservatives added. 

In 2017, they have opened several new concept of Nanyang Coffee shops in Taiping and Penang that is gaining popularity among the local and foreign tourist. In 2019, the new brand name of 'OLDMASTER New-Nanyang Coffee' was officially launched, mixing a flare of traditional excellence and offering a new coffee culture to the public to bring the brand new taste for everyone to savour and enjoy.

[REVIEW] Wristband Teether by Heorshe | Must Have Baby Teether

Hey guys, im back with another review featuring another product from Heorshe. Mikayla is around 9 months + now and i would have to say that she is struggling with teething lately. She has been waking up in the middle of the night due to discomforts and i can see that her appetite started dropping every since she started showing signs of teething. Being a mother, it makes me sad to see my little baby experiencing discomfort and all i can do is console her since she cant understand what's happening. Now, what can i can i do to help ease the pain? If you google this out, most of it would resort to getting your baby a teether.

Getting into topic for teethers, there's just so many types and varieties in the market which questions any parent on which would be the best choice? I had purchase 3-4 teethers, and some had their own pro and cons. But after recently introducing the Wristband Teether by Heorshe to Mikayla, it's like a god sent teether! The previous teethers that i have are the ones that comes in key form, silicone types and gel types, but i must say out of all the teethers that we have at home, the wristband teether is Mikayla's favourite (and mine too!). One thing that got my attention about this teether is that it comes in a form of a wristband which reduces the time of you picking it up for the baby everytime they drop it. Trust me, its a life saviour when you dont have to worry about your baby dropping it on the ground when youre out strolling in the park.

You may wonder why teether are necessary other than for the purpose of teething? Well, if you havent introudced a teether to your child, you may notice that they have a habit of sucking on their finger to comfort themselves. This in the long run would be hard to stop once your baby takes the habit of sucking their fingers as its something you cannot take away from them, thus having a teether to subsitute the finger function of soothing. If you ask me if teethers are necessary? I would definitely say yes cause to my little Mikayla, by having a right teether, it naturally soothes her while giving her more security of feeling safe since sucking is the first thing that babies would learn to do the minute they are out of the womb.

In case you would want me to sum up the highlights of this teether, what i love about it is that it has an adjustable non-dropping watch wristband design, it eases tooth pains especially for teething babies, andthe surface has been designed to be like a natural skin feel. Since babies are still practicing on their grip, with this teether, you wont have to worry about your baby dropping it onto the ground and its easy to be held onto for the baby too. The surface of the teething offers 3D surfaces that would provide comfort for the baby to grind on while avoiding your baby to put into mouth too deeply (Which most teethers would cause the baby to gag). Its made out of 100% BPA FREE soft silicone which is safe for your baby to suck on and designed with a texture for you baby to easily accept.

Personally using this for about a week now for Mikayla, i would have to say that there are so many positive feedback that i have to share. When i first introduced this to Mikayla, she had no problems to recognize on what it is, it works amazingly well for a teething baby, its soft enough to protect my baby's gums, and its super easy to clean. I usually have concerns on hygiene, but since the teether is rather flat with bumps, its easy to make sure that every corner of the teether is clean before you give it back to you baby when needed. Moreover, i did notice that when this is worn on Mikayla's wrist, it also encourages her to practice on her hand and eye coordination too! Talk about multi-purpose huh? 

Verdict

She loves it and we cant go anywhere without it!

Well as a verdict, i would have to say that this teether has been well thought of. Retailing at RM49.00
(currently going at RM39 after discount), i would say that its an investment to provide only the best for your child. The price may be a little high to some since most teethers usually range around RM25-RM40, but really, this teether completes all the criteria that i need in my checklist. I never really looked into teethers this deep before, but after introducing this teether to Mikayla, i only wished that i was introduced to this Wristband Teether by Heorshe earlier and skip my earlier purchases. After getting this, i can reassure you that you wont need another teether for your child. Also, a little life hack for a teething baby, you can also place this teether in the fridge/freezer and give it to your baby when he/she is in pain. Goodbye to sucking fingers and hello to safer beneficial teethers.
