[REVIEW] ATO N O2 | Oxygenated Baby Products

Presenting ATO N O2
Having a baby now, I've been exploring different options of skincare that is safe for my baby to use. Call me obsessed, but I just want my baby to be rash free, as they say, a rash-free baby is a happy baby. I stumbled upon a baby skincare brand from Korea called ATO N O2 which caught my attention as their products are formulated with oxygen water and they claim that it's highly effective for moisturization. Using special technology, the Oxygen Beta Formula HQK-II products contain large amounts of oxygen with a purpose to leave the skin moisturized for a longer period of time.

Approved by me and baby
Balancing Nature, Skin, Lab, and Health, I decided to give ATO N O2 a go and here's basically a review on my thoughts on the products they have to offer. I got myself the ATO N O2 Oxygen Baby kit to try which retails online at RM75.60 and the kit consists of 4 products namely, the Oxygen Baby Soothing Gel, the Oxygen Baby Lotion, the Oxygen Baby Cream, and the Oxygen Baby Bath & Shampoo. Having this travel-sized kit makes it handy to bring around in my diaper bag for the baby, and I love that it comes in a pouch of its own making sure that the products are organized and ready to go.

OXYGEN BABY SOOTHING GEL

Oxygen Baby Soothing Gel
This was one of the products that I've been looking forward to try from ATO N O2. It's an Oxygen Baby Soothing Gel that helps to soothe and reduce skin irritation. And what's even better, it also takes care of skin problems such as miliaria and eczema too making it extra gentle for babies with eczema in case my baby is experiencing eczema. Formulated with Oxygen Water, Hyaluronic Acid and Panthenol, this gel helps to keep the skin feeling fresh and moist.

Transparent and very soothing texture
Doing a texture test, I would say that it has a gel-like texture and im pretty impressed that its quick-absorbing too! Upon application on my own skin, I feel that its very lightweight and talking about the common area for rashes, it works similar to aloe vera gel that I use on my face, just that its formulated to be extra safer for babies with oxygen water. It's slightly sticky as you leave it to dry, but once it's absorbed by the skin, it feels pretty cooling and calming.

OXYGEN BABY LOTION

Oxygen Baby Lotion
Next would be the Oxygen Baby Lotion which always comes in pretty handy when you need extra moisture. Formulated with Shea Butter, Panthenol and Oxygen Beta, it also contains natural ingredients to help moisturize irritated skin and helps to keep the skin healthy with its oil-water balancing content. Other than just moisturizing, it also claims to provide nutrients for the skin as well.

Light cream that is lighweight and non sticky
For this product, I would have to say that it's very easy to apply as the lotion immediately hydrates the skin without leaving any greasy or sticky feeling. I like it so much, I might just use this for myself when im in need of some extra moisture. The texture comes out in solid white cream and its very smooth when it spread out onto the skin. Love the fact that it's not sticky on the skin, so im pretty sure that the baby wouldn't be bothered about the texture.

OXYGEN BABY CREAM

Oxygen Baby Cream
Next would be a little something for not only the baby but something that I might use for myself as well. Hehe. This cream is an oxygen water-based baby cream that uses natural botanical ingredients that reduces and minimizes skin irritation. With highly concentrated oxygenated water, it offers excellent moisture and nutrition to the skin while keeping the skin moist and healthy. I find this to be a little similar to the lotion, but it really depends on which consistency you'd prefer.

Slightly Heavy texture and very moisturizing
In terms of texture, since its cream, obviously, the texture is very creamy. It's actually pretty similar to the Oxygen Baby Lotion, but imagine it to be thicker. Personally, I would only use this when my baby is having severe dry skin, but if im using this for myself, I would definitely prefer this over the lotion. Not so much for the baby, but its a great moisturizing cream for the mommy. Plus, since it's safe for babies to use, you won't have to worry about touching your baby after moisturizing in comparison to other moisturizers that may be harmful to the baby.

OXYGEN BABY BATH & SHAMPOO

Oxygen Baby Bath & Shampoo
And last but not least would be the Oxygen Baby and Shampoo. I actually like the idea that its a combination of both as body wash and shampoo. So especially when youre rushing, this comes in pretty great when youre traveling without taking too much of luggage space. It claims to have outstanding cleansing power and the product has low acidity of PH 5.7 that is safe for sensitive skin.

Non foamy when in contact with water and very light on skin
Its formulated with Oxygen Water accompanied by botanical raw materials namely, oregano leaf extract, Cantella Asiatica extract and Chamaecyparis obtusa leaf extract with a purpose to keep dry skin moist and fresh. Its recommended to use this with a bath sponge but I used this directly with my hands and scrubbed my baby then rinse the soap off. It's not very foamy (which is good, assuming that there'ss no harsh chemicals).

VERDICT

Tried it all on mny baby, and skin condition seems to improve alot!
As a verdict, I would say that ATO N O2 offers baby products that are made out of healthy ingredients promising healthy skin. All ATO N O2 products are free from pigment, perfume, talc, paraben, and steroids making it as safe as it can be for babies to use. Among the 4 products that I've talked about, I would definitely repurchase the Oxygen Baby Lotion and the Oxygen Baby Bath and Shampoo since I believe that I would use these 2 products more often. The Soothing Gel might be something that I would use ocassionally or when my baby is having a serious skin rash. Overall, I would say that these are good products to invest in and the prices are pretty affordable for the quality that they offer. Thanks for reading, please also do check out the link below for more products that ATO N O2 has to offer.

Unboxing Goodie Bag from Healthy is the new Happy Workshop

I believe if you're reading this, you have read my previous blogpost on the recent Healthy is the new Happy workshop and on this blogpost on the other hand, I'll be sharing to you a little review on the rpoducts that I've received during the workshop. Initially I thought that this post was not necessary but after experiencing the products that I received, I found them to be helpful as a new mom, especially in self pampering and focuing more on self love. The products that i'll be talking about in this post features products from Natugee, Chiio, Mekar by T. Teja, Bondahaven, Eori, Lovera, Wirdora, and Narinar.

Natugee

The highlight of the goodie bag was two products that I received from Natugee, namely, the Deep Cleansing Lotion and a Happy Skin mask. Starting off with the Deep Cleansing Lotion, I found this product interesting as there are not many cleansers that come in the form of lotions. It claims to brighten and hydrate, but what I was impressed upon trying the product was that my skin feels super clean, smooth and soft after cleansing. usually typical cleansers would dry out your skin but this felt very gentle as it removes any residue on your skin.

The Happy Skin Mask on the other hand, is a two in one clay and exfoliator mask. As a new mom, this comes pretty handy when you need to kill two birds in one stone as it pampers the skin while exfoliating the skin gently. After trying out the product, I noticed that it minimises pores and refines the skin texture. Since blackheads are one of my biggest concerns, I find this satisfying to use as it also improves firmness and elasticity. Definitely worth trying.

Eori

The next product in the goodie bag is something from Eori which has a tagline of "Embrace Naturale". It's supposed to end your scratchy nights with 100% natural therapeutic quality of pure botanical oil, formulated using Cocoa Extract, melaleuca, Lavender, Pelargronium Graveolens, and Boswella Carterii. This botanical oil is great if you are experiencing eczema as it claims to help you reduce it in less than a week as a natural alternative for you.

So I managed to try this out and despite being oil based, it does not leave any greasy feeling behind. Somehow it is very moisturising upon first impression and it relieved my dry skin issues very nicely. Other than that, it also relieves itchyness, inflamation, and irritated skin without you needing to worry about harsh chemicals. Moreover, with its unique formulation, it can also protect you from germs and bacterias while boosting your skins immunity. The eleven key benefits that they claim to have would be that it is moisturising, soothing for eczema skin, anti-inflamatory, anit-bacterial, heals wounds, reduces itching, reduces allergic reaction, lighten eczema scars, promotes skin regeneration, reduces stress and improves immunity

Narinar

Being a fan of diffusers, I was so excited to find this in the goodie bag as well. Narinar is founded by Kak Erin who is a mother who discovered an alternative solution to combat respiratory problems using essential oils. (I can relate, Haha). The essential that I received is the Narinar Sidrie which is an extract from a plant called Sidr that has always been mentioned in Islamic Medicine. For your information, there are so many ways to use essential oils such as using it with a diffuser, adding it into your bathtub, and even using it during a massage.

The benefits of this Narinar Sidrie is that it blocks any possible encounter from evil spirits, calms the mind, releaves nausea and vomitting, and can be used as hair oil to thicken the hair. I've personally used it as a disffuser and I must admit that it does calm the environment as I smell hints of lavender which makes it great to relax after a long day.

Bondahaven

Next would be something from Bondahaven which is a roll on that may come in handy when you're on the go. This roll on is great for busy on the go moms as you'll never know when you need it. Consider it a bottle of good vibes that you can bring around filled with 100% pure essential oils of calming lavender, bergamot, basil, and grapefruit extract. Each scent of essential oil has been carefully chosen to efficiently balance your emotions while elevating the spirit. Being it made out of natural ingredients, I wont have to worry as much when I need to handle my newborn baby as there are no chemicals invloved. I personally like to roll this on my wrist and sometimes inhale from the palm of my hands when i need to instantly destress.

Mekar by T. Teja

Honestly I was surprised to receive this in the goodie bag as Mekar by T. Teja is a Breast-Firming Herbal Cream. I never knew that there are herbal creams that firms breasts. (Insert shocked face here). I haven't gotten to try this yet but it claims to increase firmness of breasts, maintain the elasticity of breasts, and enhances the shape of breasts by making it seem fuller. Other than that, it also softens rough skin, brightens up dark skin, reduces skin inflimmation, reduces stretch marks, and can be used at butt-area for the same benefits and results. From my personal perspective, other than improving appearances, it actually encourages the growth of collagen and increases skin elasticity making it perfect for those who are experiencing weight lost and for those who are trying to prevent signs of aging

Chiio

I honestly found this really cute and if you're wondering what Chiio offers, they offer services such as prop rental, event decorations, and interior styling. Based in section 17 in Petaling Jaya, if you may need their services, check them out by heading over to their store. Alternatively, you can also check them out through facebook and instagram by searching Chiio by the Nitty Gritty.

Wirdora

Another item that I received was something from Wirdora which offers pins that are made out of crystals from Swarovski. Wirdora has a very luxurious vibe as I was suprised to see a warranty card that was included with the product. Despite offering luxurious brouches and pins made out of Swarovski, they have managed to make it look presentable making it a great gift for your family and friends. I must say that the quality of this brooch is rather impressive and the fact that the warranty card covers deffect encountered by normal use in which Wirdora will repair or replace the item without charge.

Lovera

Last but not least, would be a magic jelly baby soothing gel by Lovera. Lovera is no stranger to me as i've used their soothing gels and found their products pretty impressive. I was so happy that the magic jelly baby by Lovera was included in the goodie bag as it is a soothing gel made for babies to counter dry and sensitive skin. This soothing gel is Paraben Free, Non-toxic, and Safe for all types of skin. This can be used for face, body, and hair, making it great as a quick solution to ease down any discomfort such as itchyness, rashes, dryness, and insect bites. Secretly, I wouldnt mind using this for myself making it a two-in-one benefit for me and my baby

To end my blogpost, I wanna thank all the sponsors that sponsered the workshop as I found these products that I received to be helpful in my journey to motherhood. I also received Gift Certificates from Wakka Wakka and Furama Hotel which I can't wait to use when I am free. Well, I hope you found this blogpost interesting on products that you may or may not have heard of before as I had a lot of fun trying them out. J-Hunt Opens at AEON Big Subang Jaya | Premium Pre-loved Products from Japan

I've made it to J-Hunt!
Finally out of the confinement period and im back in action, where the first place i decided to checkout would be J-Hunts, The Mottainai Store's Grand opening at AEON Big Subang Jaya. You must be wondering what is J-Hunt all about? Well, to keep it short and sweet, they believe in a philosophy where they embrace the care of the planet by not throwing away items carelessly. I mean, don't get me started about the amount of landfill's we are creating in the world, so this is actually doing the world a favor.

Opened on the 25th October 2019
Japanese souvenirs without traveling to Japan
J-Hunt follows the tagline that we usually hear where 'one mans trash is another mans treasure', and i couldnt agree with the tagline even more after walking into their store this week. J-Hunt offers items that has been re-conditioned and showcases the value of pre-loved to be re-loved through retail. Not to forget, other than doing the world a good deet, they also have their own CSR project called Mottainai Volunteer Project (MPC) where they give a helping hand to those who need it.

I found this picnic bag at a steal price.
Including cutleries and plates, only RM30
Okay, you may have realized that i've written Mottainai a few times by now in the first 2 parragraphs, and you must be wondering, what does it mean? Well, to keep it short and clean, Mottainai is a Japanese term which means 'to have respect for the resources, not to waste them and to use them with a sense of gratitute'. Also, to me, it basically means to preserve the ecology by Reducing, Reuisng and Recycling to show respect to the the people and mother nature.

Star Wars vintage action figure collectibles, RM20/each
One Piece collectibles can also be found at J-Hunt
There's more than 1 showcase for you to browse through
I got my hands a Darth Vader cause it was so cheap!
If you think J-Hunt is a place that sells pre-loved items, then bingo! But that's not all! Other than Pre-loved items, they have many brand new items, premium items and collectors too! I was surprised to see that they have action figures in a glass display box which looked so classy. Not to forget, i found a corner that sells Star Wars collectables too! Managed to grab one action figure at RM100 and i have no regrets! So, collectors, this could be a secret hideout for you to hunt for your favourite characters.

Also, you may find clothes starting at as low as RM1
See, told you!
They also have pre-loved authentic bags if youre lucky, this is a Kate Spade at only RM180
Also, LV is available at only RM320, in pristine condition too!
Personally speaking, i would say pre-loved are the best thing in the world for people who find brand new items expensive. These items are not old, but i believe has added value to it with a smaller cost to pay. As long as it has a purpose and its still in good condition, its definitely a treasure especially when youre paying a tons of fraction of the original price. In J-hunt, imagine that you can even find clothes at only RM1, which is still in trend and definitely wearable.

For those dreaming to be musicians, now your dream can come true!
Get yourself a guitar or electric guitar at a cheaper price at J-Hunt
Other musical instruments are available too! A saxophone at only RM600?!
There's also camping items at J-Hunt if youre a camper
Coleman bags at only RM100-RM50, some even new!
If youre a collector of huge figurines, then you may also find yourself getting this Gundam at a reasonable cost
Other than Apparels, they also have bags, hobbies, infant products, musical intruments, shoes, sports products, tablewares, toys and watches. Surprisingly, i was more attracted to the plush toy section which has a fair spread of really adorable collectables that doesnt cost a bomb. Found myself getting an alien plush and a pinguin plush which i remember seeing in Japan earlier this year at only RM8 for both! I cant believe that its so cheap cause while i was in Japan, i remember not being able to afford it.

Ergobaby Pre-loved at only RM100
Not to forget that you may also find strollers at only RM100! In good condition too
There's also vintage items such as this teapot from the Edo Period
Not to forget if youre a huge fan of culture, theres this section where they sell vintage products that share with you the traditional arts of Japan. Believe it or not, some of the items in this section are from the Tokugawa Shogunate aging as old as the Edo Period in (1600 to 1868), making these items really valuable to collectors of rich history and culture that are originated from Japan. If youre lucky, you can find yourself stumbling upon high value items such as Samurai helmets, Fortune Cats, Decorated Porcelain Cast iron tea pots, native wooden dolls and many other traditional items that are seen in Japanese homes today.

The staff were also well trained and ever ready to assist if you need any help
I bought tons of Japanese goods that i wnted to buy while i was in Japan , and trust me, it was SO WORTH IT!
After my shopping experience today, i would say that J-Hunt offers a unique array of collections that are rare and premium. To suit the Malaysian market, all items has been filtered and pig skinned products are banned to reassure the muslim cutomers in Malaysia that it is safe to head over to this Mottainai Store. I was also impressed by the service of the staff who were always ready to assist me when i need assitance with some enquiries on some products. Really, i've never been to a store that gave customers so much attention while browsing through the shelves. Well, that all for now and i look forward to see their expansion to reach other states of Malaysia to other ASEAN countries.
