MITEC RAMADAN 2019 PRESENTS 5 KAMPUNG FLAVOURS

Another spot to check out if you happen to be around Mont' Kiara this coming Ramadhan season. To welcome the festive fasting season is just around the corner, the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) is bringing to you a theme of 5 kampung flavors for your to indulge during this years Ramadhan. Since I also heard that they promise to showcase a wide selection of dishes, emphasizing more on taste and scent that would definitely remind you of being home in your 'kampung'.

You might be wondering what are these 5 Kampung flavors right? So just to give you an idea of what to expect, MITEC offers Sup Tulang Merah from Kampung Melayu Majidee, Johor, Daging Kerutup from Kampung Ira, Pahang, Asam Pedas Ikan from Kampung Tujuh, Melaka, Gulai Kawah Daging Pisang Muda from Kampung Ekor Kuching, Kedah and Ayam Percik from Kampung Chepa, Kelantan. It's absolutely a great time to dine in 1 location, but with food that comes from 5 different states.

As appetizers, you can look forward to having nostalgic festive treats such as Gado-gado, Ketupat, Lemang, Nasi Impit, Bergedit, Rojak Buah-Buahan and even a variety of Jeruk! Not to forget if you LOVE kerabu, MITEC also offers the traditional Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Taugeh, Kerabu Kacang Pangjang, Kerabu Dagingm Kerabu Soo Hoon Cendawan Hitam and Kerabu Sarea. Talk about satisfying your kerabu cravings right? hehe.

Some highlights to keep a lookout for, highlighted by Chef Chiew would be authentic Ramadan dishes such as Signature Kari Kalut, Kambing Golek (definitely the highlight for many!), Udang Masak Mentega, Siput Sedut Lemak, Rendang Kambing and the all-time favorite, bubur lambuk! To compilment these dishes, there is also an addition offering the 'orang lama heritage' salad such as daun selom, ulam raja, kacang botol, jering terung pipit, daun gajus and more!

And last but not least would be the desserts to satisfty your sweet tooth cravings during the festive season. Just to match the festive flavours, there will be traditional Malay kuih, bread butter pudding, bubur pulut hitam, bubur gandum, ais kacang, cendol and even serawa durian (which is pretty rare to find at buffet spreads!) Or if youre there for the drinks, they have cordial punch, rose bandung, asam boi, or air teh bunga to satisfy your thirst.

In case youre wondering on what the promotion for corporate events above 100 persons, it will be available daily throughout Ramadan from RM128++ per person. There will also be two customizable menu choices in which you have an option to Seven add-on stalls including a 'Dusun Durian' at the Venue's Oval garden. Located within the city with stressfree conditions during peak hours, making it the perfect location to have your corporate dinner without the fuss of getting there.
