[REVIEW] Whitening Cream | G9Skin White in Whipping Cream
Hey, guys, you may think that working on an island is a dream job but here's the ugly truth. You imagine walking by the beach in the evenings and getting a dip in the open sea when you can, and when you head to bed and wake up the next day, you realize that you're sunburned. I honestly don't mind pulling off the 'tan' look, but at times when I'm off to an event or to a wedding, I would expect at least my skin to look brighter after a few weeks (which usually I don't achieve sadly). Thankfully, I found a whitening cream that spreads on my skin naturally and in this post, I'll be writing a little review on how good it is. Scroll away!
The Whitening Cream is by G9Skin and other than having a really cute packaging, it also has a super cute title which is called the White in Whipping Cream. As you can see, it comes in a milk box carton which I found adorbs, and when you flip it around, you'll see all Korean words as the instructions. I wasn't as worried when I got this, cause I assume that it doesn't take instructions to tell you how to use this. Easy peasy. The packaging also comes with an expiry date at the back too!
When you unbox the packaging, the actual product actually comes in a 50g tub containing white 'whipping cream'. I love how it has a proper cap that protects the cream with a little lid so that it's easy to pull it open (as some cream tubs don't have covers that as convenient) and as expected, the content is as white as snow! I would highly recommend you to use a spatula to scoop out the content like I did to maintain hygiene of the product.
Now, upon testing it, I was actually a little skeptical about the formulation ending up too white on the skin but surprisingly it works pretty well! I did a hand swatch and I was really surprised that when in contact with skin, the cream would turn into water droplets within seconds! Apparently, it contains hyaluronic acid which provides long lasting moisture and at the same time leaves your skin feeling hydrated with a natural glow. Truth be told! But I warn you that you may not be required to use too much on your skin, which also means that this product is good to last you for at least 2 months if worn daily.
As a verdict, I'd say that it really does brighten your skin almost instantly, but it doest not leave you with permanent results ( personal opinion after using about a week ). It's a great product to have if you want an instant boost of having brighter glowing skin after being out in the sun a day before. I usually would apply this after toner and moisturizer which helps even out the cream when applying on skin. To enhance the cream, it would be best when you apply makeup to make it look more natural on the skin.
