This Ramadhan, Chakri Palace is delighted to once again hold a buffet of Thai cuisines and local favourite dishes specially for 2017's Ramadhan Promotion the “Tantalizing Tastes of Thailand” buffet to be held at Imperial Chakri Palace KLCC and Chakri Palace Pavilion KL from 30th May 2017 onwards. APPETIZERS
Its truely an honour to be invited to a preview session of the Imperial Chakri Palace's Ramadhan Buffer for 2017. Being a thai oriented restaurant, guest would be amazed with their dedicated Thai Chefs spread of more than 50 modern and authentic Thai local favorites. To start of with some teasers, their spread of appetizers featured a seletion of local ulam-ulam and Kerabu, such as Thai Mango Salad, Thai Papaya salad, famous thai appetizers with seven ingredients "Mieng Kam", Samosa and many more! I admit that it was rather hard to decide on what to east first as everything just looks so good (especially when youre starving). Hehe
MAIN COURSE
As the main course, guest may indulge in their Thai cuisine selections such as lamb in Thai green curry, prawn with butter sauce topped with salted egg, stir fried squid with salted egg, Tomyam seafood, beef with black pepper sauce and fish with sweet & spicy sauce. I was told that Imperial Chakri Palace decided to add a little twist to the spread by honouring this special time of year, by introducing a variety of Malaysian favourites, including Rendang Daging Tok ,Masak Lemak Gulai Daging, Ayam Kapitan and Nasi Beriani. Making it convenient for gatherings with friends and family by providing two cuisines in one place!
LIVE ACTION STALL
Another section that has been attracting a lot of attention would be the live action stalls where i found special Chicken and Beef Satay, Ikan Bakar and Tom Yam Noodles that will definitely leave you craving for more. Some were even cooked before my eyes! If youre a fan of Tom Yam, this would be your station! I love how you could even pick the condiments that you want in your Tom Yam noodles too as it made my dish felt special to cater to my likings. hehe.
DESSERTS
Finally, whats a proper meal without desserts? Indulge yourself with famous Thai desserts such as Red Ruby Waterchestnut (MY FAV), Thai mango sticky rice and also some local favorites such as kuih-muih melayu, bubur jagung & pisang and many other delicacies. And just a side note, Imperial Chakri Palace offers a tantalizing variety to satisfy the sweet tooth as they crave for more each time they finish a plate. Hehe. (Yes, im guilty as charged)

The buffet items are rotated from three different menus specially prepared for the month of Ramadhan and is open from 7.00 p.m. onwards. Priced at RM95.90++(KLCC) and RM85.90++ (Pavilion) per person for adults, RM49.90++ (KLCC) and RM42.90 (Pavilion) per child between six and ten years old and also for senior citizen (60 years old) whilst children under 6 dine for FREE.
