Watch the proclaimed 'Gay Scene' in Beauty And The Beast | Malaysia

With all the news of Malaysia 'banning' the Disney movie, The Beauty and The Beast, its no doubt that the statement has upset a lot of adults who were born in the 90's (which includes me). It seems to be a nightmare to find out that the movie is first banned, then postponed with a required cut scene, and now since Disney refuses to cut the scene, it's back to being banned again. I can't guarantee on how true the news is, but I do hope that somehow those who found so much negativity on the movie would maybe see the light and let it premiere in Malaysia.

According to the Film Censorship Board of Malaysia, they were not too happy with a scene from the Beauty and the Beast as it had characteristics of a gay character in the film. Despite receiving so many complaints by the people in Malaysia, the answer we received has been a huge disappointment. The movie was supposed to be premiered on the 16th of March in Malaysia, but I personally noticed that most of the cinemas have removed the posters from their wall. LET IT NOT BE TRUE! (Adds cry face here)

To my discovery, this 'gay' character that the film censorship Board of Malaysia claims is gay has nothing too obscene to be showed in cinemas (I was thinking if they had a naked scene or something, LOL). After watching a short clip on youtube of Disney's first exclusive gay scene, I think the character was rather confused, but at the end, he realised to to have some feelings towards Gaston.     Ah, actually first Disney did an 'internal' review because the director mentioned an exclusive gay moment in the movie. LPF then informed that the gay scene needs to be cut hence the 'minor' cut. Disney is now saying no to the cut. IMHO, there is never a 'ban', just them passing the ball around. But yeah, likely not showing in Malaysia.

    Before this movie, I remember that Disney cartoon movie also have a funny guy who crazy about him while he drink beer too much, but he also act as very stupid. I don't care. Disney get to show that the main characters; a prince and princess fall love each other, so it is ok la Why they complained about the guys looks like girly? lol

    Obviously Disney not going to pay under table for their show in public. So they trying their luck to push it thru.
