With the SoftLips Cube, you wont need multiple lipbalms when all you need is just one with 5-in-1 functions. The new SoftLips Cube is not only convenient with its all-in-one functionality but it also has a unique stylish cube design resembles ice cubes that makes you look snazzy when applying your lipbalm. Never in my life i've seen a cube lip balm before, making this by far the first lip balm that comes in a cube! And speaking of ice cubes, i think i managed to figure out why they decided it to be in that shape. Swatching the SoftLips Cube, onto my lips, i noticed that it gave my lips a cooling feel to it. #love

Formulated with the Lip Perfecting Technology, Mentholatum’s SoftLips Cube has a 5-in-1 function which ensure that your lips are protected from adverse weather conditions, stays constantly moisturized and attractive. Reading through the fine details, this product has been shown to prevent sunburn, and is also cruelty free! With luxurious belnds of lip perfecting ingredients, 5-in-1 function works in the following ways:

1| Hydrates – Fortified with premium moisturisers such as Shea Butter, the Softlips Cube restores moisture even to the driest lips

2| Repairs – Contains antioxidants and Vitamins A, C and E to soothe and repair damaged skin

3| Smoothes – Formulated with unique emollients to smoothen rough skin, leaving skin silky soft

4| Protects – Shields lips from UV rays with SPF 15

5| Adds shine – Unlike regular lipbalms which only offers protection, the Softlips Cube also comes with a light-weight gloss that offers a radiant finish upon application

The SoftLips Cube comes in four variants i.e The Fresh Mint, Strawberry, Vanilla Bean (new) and Pomegranate Blueberry (new). It is available exclusively at Watsons for only RM18.90. As a verdict, i would actually say that my favourite feature of this SoftLips Cube would be that it has an interesting flavour to it which made me want to apply lipbalm to my lips more often! And yes, the flavouring stated on the pack are not fake (like yknow, some of the lipbalms in stores says its flavoured as strawberry but all you taste is beeswax?) Hehe. It is also gluten-free which makes it ideal for people with gluten allergy too. To ensure efficacy, it would be recommended to apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every two hours especially when outdoors.
