SkyPark Terminal X Grab agreement

Both SkyPark Terminal and Grab teams pose for a group shot at the Press Conference.
Malaysia’s busiest domestic airport, SkyPark Terminal, achieved another milestone when it became the first airport in Malaysia to collaborate with South East Asia’s leading ride hailing service, Grab. The agreement was signed at a Press Conference at the Peugeot Lounge at SkyPark Terminal by Yg. Bbhg Tan Sri Datuk Ravindran Menon, Executive Director of SkyPark Terminal, and Jaygan Fu, Grab Malaysia’s Country Head.

Tan Sri Datuk Ravindran Menon, Executive Director, Subang SkyPark Sdn Bhd; Jaygan Fu, Country Head, Grab Malaysia, sign the Memorandum of Understanding document to officially launched the 4-year agreement between them, as Aaron Chin, Head of Partnership, Grab Malaysia looks on.
The two household names entered into a 4-year agreement that will make the commute for travellers from SkyPark Terminal to their preferred destinations much more convenient by offering guests and travellers transportation. With this agreement, travellers will be able to book their Grab rides even before they leave the Arrivals Hall through a Grab kiosk, and after a mere couple of minutes, be on their way to a destination of their choosing.

Francis Anthony, Senior Vice President of Operations, SkyPark Terminal; Tan Sri Datuk Ravindran Menon, Executive Director, Subang SkyPark Sdn Bhd; Nicholas Tan, Founder, Marketplace Used Vehicles (MUV); Jaygan Fu, Country Head of Grab Malaysia; and Aaron Chin, Head of Partnership, Grab Malaysia pose with a souvenir at the Press Conference.
The agreement between Grab and SkyPark Terminal results from a mutual aim to provide both business and leisure travellers with rides that are safe, reliable, convenient and cost-effective. With this partnership, SkyPark Terminal will be the cheaper and more convenient option to fly to popular destinations such as Penang, Langkawi, Johor Bahru, Kota Bahru, Kuala Terengganu, Kerteh, Alor Setar, and Singapore.

As part of the fanfare, Grab also took the opportunity to kick off their latest service – GrabCar (6-seater) for travellers with larger car needs. The GrabCar (6-seater) can be booked on demand or in advance (minimum an hour prior to pick-up time) to ease travellers minds with a base fair of RM2, with a minimum rate of RM8 (on-demand) or RM15 (advance booking).
