Hey'all, if you're still struggling to figure out on how to celebrate mothers day, I have a great way to spoil your mom on Mother's Day. Upon entering the Kontiki walkway, you will be greeted by two tiki's as a traditional welcome to the Kontiki paradise. The layout was absolutely stunning and I specifically got my eyes on the love seats surrounded by rattan cause it looks like a pretty spot to take photos. hehe. There's an option for indoor and outdoor settings, depending which ambiance you prefer as both really left me speechless with stunning views.

As starters, you'll have a choice to check out their appetizers, cold platter and salad bar which will leave you undecided of where to start first. The variety is plenty, but what caught my attention the most was the seafood on ice comprising mussels, cold crab, prawns, salmon, duck breast, shrimp cocktail and the free flow of fresh oysters! The salad bar, offering fresh ingredients that comprised western, Chinese, and Malay style such as coselaw salad, mixed corn salad, mixed vegetable salad and the uniquely Malaysian taste of 'rojak buah'.

Available on the buffet line is the varieties of local and continental savouries to stir your palate which includes sushi & Sashimi, satay with condiments, roasted and steamed chicken, roasted duck, Malaysian cuisine dishes, and the list goes on as I'll let the pictures do all the talking.

Kontiki is a great place to have dinner on weekends as it's located by a breezy poolside surrounded by greenery. Serving the best of BBQ at the cylinder BBQ station is one of its kind in Malaysia where you can enjoy fresh seafood, be enticed by the aromas of perfectly barbequed choice cuts of beef steak, lamb cutlet, juicy sausages, yummy BBQ chicken wing, finger licking smoked skewered meats, BBQ seafood squid, fresh water prawns, flower crabs and more! I love how they have signature desserts, just to name a few, they have Nyonya kuih, ice kacang, pudding, creme brulee, fruits, fruit tarts and more!
