The event space of the launch of evo. |
When it comes to hair, i personally find it
really hard to determine which brand works the best for me. Especially when my hair needs special care since i have oily and dry scalp. I mean, marketing for hair products can be tough, like when you see in commercials, a girl with long hair would usually flip their hair flawlessly but when you use the product yourself, you don't exactly achieve the same results.
|
Some models who had a new make-over. |
So just to get yourself out of the norms, i present to you
evo, an
innovative professional hair and beauty product manufactured to speak the truth. Originated all the way from the land down under, and they have decided to expand to Malaysia! And boy they do not fail to impress.
|
Showing off some styling technique's by using evo products |
|
Demonstration of the latest hair trends |
Evo caught my attention with this tag line which says '
Saving ordinary humans from themselves'. Got me really thinking on what that meant, and i think it embraces their brand pretty well. Evo steps outside the normal realm of trust-stretching invention in a '
wake up and smell the coffee' crusade of twisted honestly,
designed to make people think.
|
Curling is made possible without using a curler. |
|
Demonstration of evo hairstling products |
Evo also claims that you wont find unnecessary, over marketed ingredients, no imaginary technology, no myths, no gimmicks, which sums up to the ingredients in Evo are active formulations. Nothing is added only to make claims on the label. I find their scheme interesting cause the whole idea sounds very hipster. So yes,
i would actually consider this as a hipster haircare product if you ask me. haha
|
Model's showing off their custom hair conditioner. |
They have
3 product ranges available to suit every needs of a consumer and of course the hairdressers.
evo and
evo Fabuloso are catered to be suitable for regular consumers, while
evo Fabuloso Pro is for professional hairdressers! Im also loving how this particular product has its very own personality.
|
evo hair care and calm range. |
|
evo curl range |
|
evo style range |
|
evo straight and volume range |
Now, let me introduce to you a few things on
evo. evo hair products claims that they are
made from the finest globally sourced ingredients and are divided in 6 product families catering for different hair needs.
1 Calm
dry follicles unit ; for moisturise dry, frizzy, colour-treated hair
2 Care
love is in the hair ; a repair weak, brittle, colour-treated hair
3 Volume
fat & happy ; volumise fine, limp, colour-treated hair
4 Curl
twisted for life ; support curly hair and enhance natural wave
5 Straight
tame the strays ; smooth coarse hair and control the frizz
6 Style
great sculptors dont use tofu ; styling and finishing
evo has one of the
cutest concept with humour if you ask me, cause i find their tags so adorable. The person who even thought of it is just brilliant! hehe. They have evo face, body and tools too. But i wouldnt want to touch too much on that as its equivalently as good as their haircare products.
|
evo Fabuloso |
Next would be
evo Fabuloso, a product which
conditions, revives, adds shine, intensifies colour and tones colour. These are definitely not your usual conditioners because these enhancing conditioners provide an instant
hair colour boost which also nourishes your hair at the same time. They currently have 7 different shades, which would
brighten coloured hair in only 3 minutes (thats insane). I really wouldnt mind having a can of this at home to revive the colour on my hair. So much YES!
|
evo Fabuloso Pro |
And last but not least would be the
evo Fabuloso Pro for professionals. These are understandable that its only suitable for professionals. Why? What makes eco Fabuloso Pro different is that, other than it
colours and maintains, it also gives hair dresses unlimited semi colours to create. And yes, thats exactly what i mean, theyre
customisable! Thats not even all, hairdressers can even create a special conditioner for you to maintain the colour of your hair. With that statement, im all in for evo products.
|
evo Fabuloso Pro preserve solutions |
There are so many reason to love evo, and one of my favourite reason would be that they are
ammonia and peroxide free! So say bye bye to the acidic smell of ammonia, and say hello to evo for a better option. They even take
social responsibilities seriously because all their
packagings are 100% recyclable and they even
substitute synthetics with naturals when an equivalent is available. Hoorah!
|
evo Brushes |
Im not lying when i say that this happens to be one of the
hippest hair care product that i've ever laid my eyes on. At the launch, we had a demonstration on how can you
use evo's styling products to embrace the beauty of your hair. From colouring, to styling, evo can be so flexible and easy to use anytime, anywhere.
|
Customisable solutions for customers to bring home |
And there you have it. Evo, your option to be different. Do check their official website out at
http://evohair.com to keep yourself update with Evo. Their availability in Malaysia will soon to be confirmed at participating salons, so be sure to keep an eye out for them, cause if you havent noticed, their evo
packagings has humour written all over it ;)
