[REVIEW] Bio-Oil ; Skincare oil

Introducing Bio-Oil
Dont you hate it when you get scars when youre playing with your car, or stretch marks after doing too much sports? Bio-Oil is a familiar brand to many when it comes to diminishing scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin. Bio-Oil has been a trusted brand to me, and i decided to do a write up on how well it really works!

Instructions and claims.
Bio-Oil claims to be a specialist skincare product formulated to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone. The unique formulation contains a breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil, which is highly effective for ageing and dehydrated skin. Its also designed to be safe to be used on your face and body, which is an extra bonus!

Instructions to make sure users use it right.
Each box of Bio-Oil comes with a manual with instructions on how the oil should be used, depending on your skin condition that youre trying to solve. The application has not much difference as no matter what problem your skin is facing, its advised to apply Bio-Oil twice daily and its to be used for a minimum of 3 months. I also took some time reading the manual, and it says that you can use this while youre in your bath tub. YAS!

Easy control.
The packaging comes in a plastic bottle, and also an anti leak cap. The oil happens to be in a transparent orange colour, and its very easy to control on the amount youre pouring to the palm of your hands. Theres no specific instruction to how much you need, but i guess its based on your instincts on how much should be used depending on how much of skin surface youre covering.

I have this ugly scar here on my knee and im hoping that the scar would at least be less obvious once i start applying Bio-Oil. All you need to do is apply some Bio-Oil to the palm of your hands, spread it out with both hands and apply it to the needed area. And thats about it! You may think that the world 'Oil' in Bio-Oil would lead to the liquid feeling greasy, but no. Its not greasy at all and i love how its rapidly absorbed by the skin.

After a week of using Bio-Oil, i decided to take a photo of the same scar to see if it reduced. From the photo above, it think its showing pretty good results, dont you think so? Its not as obvious as it was before and i love how my skin felt smoother too. You have to try this to believe it!

The verdict: 

☑Its reduces the marks of scars and evens out uneven skin
☑Smells like Rosemary and Lavender oil (very relaxing)
☑Suitable for Face and Body
☑Non-greasy and well absorbed by skin
☑Suitable for sensitive skin

I have a few stretch marks around my thighs, which makes me feel less confident to go around to beaches in bikini's. *cries* But i have yet to try it out to see if it removes these marks entirely! Wish me luck ;)

Its available in 3 different sizes, so you can either choose to get it in 60ml, 125ml or 200ml. Personally i prefer the 60ml cause its easier to bring it around while im travelling, and its easy to just dump it in my handbag. (PSST, the 60ml is as big as my iPhone in case youre wondering) Hehe.

    The stretch mark surely one of the biggest concern for me too. Now that you mentioned this product, I might be buying too. Do update with the result for stretch mark later. :)

    I have tried this Bio Oil before and quite like the texture and the effect. Kindly of easy to absorb into skin as well.

    highly recommended.. the wife used this a lot during before and after childbirth and it does help in reducing those stretch marks.

    I have been using bio oil for the past 5 years and it works amazing. Now that im pregnant i have little signs of stretched marks because i started back using bio oil instead of cocoa butter

    I always love to use aromatherapy oils. Thought I use to bought from Thailand. Recently, I bought best Essential Oils for Aromatherapy . At first I was hesitating but later one, I have seen there refund policy, so I just took a risk. After getting my oils, I was amazed to see its quality. They are so good in quality and smells really awesome.
